MySpace is back!
Remember when Rupert Murdoch said NewsCorp "screwed up MySpace in every way possible"? Well the social network, after being sold to Specific Media for $35m, reported growth of 1 million new users last month - more hits than G+, Tumblr and Pinterest. It's believed that this growth is down to the direction MySpace is headed for - music. The company recent launched a new music player, shifting its similarities from Facebook to streaming services like Spotify and Pandora.

With Facebook integration and growing numbers, will MySpace survive another fight with another web Goliath?

iPad beats Samsung..... in South Korea
After countless attempts of downplaying the iPhone's success to hype its own products, Samsung is reportedly trailing behind Apple's iPad in its own home country. There are now over 1 million iPad and iPad 2s in South Korea, believed to be 70-80% of the Korean tablet market.

Samsung are expected to launch a new tablet at this year's Mobile World Congress.

Google TV gets sleeker YouTube interface
Social content seems to be a leading trend this year, spearheaded by the web's favourite channel; YouTube. In an attempt to encourage users to use its services on TVs, Google has updated the YouTube app for Google TV.  It now gives users a channel page, allowing easier navigation of your favourite playlists and subscribed channels. There's also a new 'Discover' area to browse channels based on category.

Instagram gets updated
Everyone's favourite hipster, erm, iPhonoegraphy app Instagram recently updated to 2.1. The new look improves usability, adds three new filters, makes notifications tapable, and includes a new feature called Lux, which brightens underexposed photos. The app also allows you to add filters in real time so you have an idea of how your work of art will look.
