Twitter refreshes its ‘Twitter for Business’ site to help brands

By Kyle on 3 April 2013

On Monday, Twitter launched a redesigned business site to help businesses and brands learn how to build a successful presence on the social network. The site offers tips for businesses on how to engage with their customers/audience.

The business site provides content for both new and advanced Twitter business users. The site features a wealth of varied information, from the basics of how to tweet and build a community on Twitter, to the more advanced sections such as using analytics to measure the impact of Twitter on a business. This is complemented with case studies of companies ranging in both industry and size that are using Twitter successfully. The cost of advertising on Twitter depends on the size of business and the type of campaign you want to produce.

The redesigned site also provides information for business users on the developer tools that will help with marketing on Twitter.

Whilst the site is aimed towards growing Twitter’s advertising services (a recent report from eMarketer projected Twitter’s ad revenue will be close to $1 billion in 2014), it will also appeal to brands seeking to increase their presence on the social network. The helpful information providing marketers with clear, concise tips on how to use the social media site will prove invaluable.
