Yesterday, Twitter launched its ‘Twitter Music’ site. The launch came after Twitter’s acquisition of ‘We Are Hunted’, a service which scoured the internet (blogs, social media, message boards and BitTorrent) to identify the most popular 99 songs online. The technology behind ‘We Are Hunted’ has driven Twitter’s development of ‘Twitter Music’.
